Margram is one of the biggest villages of West Bengal. It is located at the bank of River Dwarka. Its coordinates are 24°8'54"N 87°50'44"E. Its nearest hometown is Rampurhat,a sub-divisional town in Birbhum district. This village has the population of about more than 20000. But it is not confirmed that the population is correct. It has two high schools,one high madrasah, and a lots of primary schools. One of them is girls' primary school that is popular as haldibari primary school and quite old. Another popular and old primary school is battala primary school.Though it is a village it has a regular market where every vegetable and non-vegetable items are available.You can also get everybody's daily usable things.There is situated a Big ground that is owned by Margram High Madrasah at the north side of this village and is used by the youngsters and sportslovers of Margram.It has a primary health center at the west side of this village. Margram Police station is located at the south side of this village.It has also an animal hospital that is located at the east side of this village.Most of the villagers' profession are cultivation.
